Rose thorns make attractive additions to crafts like shadow boxes and resin. They can also be used in a variety of spellwork for protection, energy work,  warding, and hexing. Use them in spell jars, protective jewelry, love spells, candle magic, home wards, and much more. Some herbalists also recommend adding even a single rose thorn to extractions and tinctures to imbue powerful protective energy and open up the heart center. 

I personally like to use them in workings where I need to have sharp, clear boundaries so I can continue flourishing!
