♤ bobcat skull, ethically sourced*

♡ agate geode & foraged seashells 

◇ zinnia flowers from my garden

♧ thrifted fish bowl with wooden lid 

*Everyone's definition of ethical is different. Here's mine: No critter in my shop is ever harmed to become art. I forage for everything I can myself, and ensure I only collect/purchase materials in sustainable, legal ways. For larger pieces such as this, I source from a small, trusted group of foragers, farmers, and animal processors with waste products they'd otherwise throw away. This lovely feline was the victim of a car accident, as evidenced by damaged received to the rear, right side of the skull. The damage is partially obscured by the flowers, but may still be visible. One of the canines is partially worn down, the rest are in tact and in great shape. All teeth have been glued in place, but may naturally develop cracking over time.
